Meet George Karydas
George is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holding a B.Sc in Horticulture with a specialization in Floriculture. He further honed his expertise with a Master’s degree in Landscape Design (MA Landscape Design) from the University of Sheffield. Since January 2010, he has served as a Specialist Scientist at the Cyprus University of Technology, teaching Landscape Architecture in the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, and Food Science. Additionally, George is an accredited green roof engineer.
In 2007, George founded Outdoor Creations. As an active member of the Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects (PALA), the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), and the Cyprus Agronomists’ Council, George collaborates with architects, interior designers, and engineers to create high-quality green spaces. He is also a regular participant and speaker at international conferences focused on landscaping and green development.
